Workforce Equity

Workforce Equity promotes equal employment opportunity across the university’s recruitment, hiring, and personnel processes by ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, as well as university policies and procedures, and by fulfilling reporting obligations and requests through data-informed analyses, reports, and dashboards.

Search Process Toolkit

Recruiting and hiring individuals to work at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, is one of our most important cooperative responsibilities. A Search Process Toolkit has been designed to provide resources to guide you through the various stages of the search process and to ensure the university is recruiting talent and making hiring decisions, in a fair and equitable way.

Workshops and Trainings

The division offers many different training and workshop opportunities for our campus partners. We offer weekly trainings and online presentations of the most requested workshops listed below. Additional in-person trainings and workshops can be scheduled by request.

Reports and Data Requests

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Employee Diversity Dashboard provides access to faculty and staff diversity data and trends from 2015 to the present.

This dashboard includes breakdowns by race/ethnicity, gender, employee type and sub-type, and faculty tenure status. Race/ethnicity and gender data are based on voluntary self-identification by individual employees. All data is aggregated and anonymized, so that no individually identifiable employee information is revealed.
